Anal Lumps / Anal Masses
Lumps which can be felt in and around the anus result from a variety of anal conditions. Nearly all of these are described in this our website. They are at times serious and at other times of little consequence. On all occasions however they must be investigated in order to ensure that serious disease is eliminated from the possibilities. Your doctor will advise you appropriately. Often there is pain associated with the appearance of a lump. At other times the lump is pain free.
